Terrible News!

Sunday, April 21, 2013

I am not ready to talk (much) about it but after all these months of feeling so horrible, I finally know why.

I have MS!

I have decided that I am not (currently) going to go with the traditional medical treatments as of all the nasty - awful side effects.

I am putting together my "team" of holistic health people.

This decision is subject to change down the road but for now this is what I feel is best for me.

I am still trying to come to terms with this....

I hope to get it together soon & return to my weight loss goals and my teams! For anyone (teams or individuals) I have left down I do apologize! :(

I have a very good friend with MS, and she leads a very full life. It's shocking news, but there is much that can be done these days.

It is with such a sadden heart, I have, after reading your blog. We sometimes wonder why we have to go through all this bad stuff in life and look at others who never had an operation, disease, etc. It is our cross we have to bear I suspose. like Jesus beared his cross. I hope that God will make your journey an easy one for you and bring you back to full health again.

I am so sorry to hear that you have MS and I am so happy that you are blogging about it.

You see, I too have MS and RA. My life has changed a lot. I especially dislike not being able to do things with my daughters. Shopping, for one, is very difficult for me and my girls love to shop. I find that I can easily fall and I tire out so quickly. Yes, the have the carts you can drive, however, I find them hard to steer and awkward to maneuver in a crowed area. And going out to eat is not always easy for me. I can easily start couching. This embarrasses my family.

Now I am focusing on what I can do and not so much on what I have had to let go. I will look for your new sounds like something many of us can use.

OH my. I am so very sorry to hear about this, but you have a good approach to deal with this putting together you holistic providers to work with you.

Hugs and prayers. Your main objective has to be take care of YOU, so the rest . . . I wouldn't even worry about it right now!
