Disney World Fun

Sunday, April 21, 2013

We had lots of fun at Disney World yesterday! Here's some evidence of recent good times:

I carried around a lot of healthy food and water yesterday all day, and still ended up going significantly over my calorie range by bedtime. Oh, well. I don't have to be perfect!

I missed my Saturday long run, so got up this morning and ran 8.66 miles. Felt good. I love the group long runs, but on the other hand, getting to set exactly the pace I want is a treat, too!

Have a great day, healthy and happy, everyone!!

Where's Gary's crazy hat? LOL I'm glad that you enjoyed your day with your family. I sometimes like to exercise by myself just to change things up. I'm impressed that you went out and did such a good run by yourself. Kudos to you!

Lovely photos -great looking bunch of folks there! So glad you were able to make up the run you missed -seems like you have to consider it as 'me' time, you have so little of that. To me I think of running as more of a solo activity, getting lost in your thoughts and your body's performance! Glad you enjoyed the opportunity to run at your own pace!

Disney World did not keep from being active this weekend. Sometimes going it alone is the way to go. Hugs!

Sweet! One of these days, I have to take D & Gianna to Disney World. I might break down and do at least one Disney run! Glad the family enjoyed, Marsha!

You probably burned some extra calories walking all day at Disney so going over calories one day is not a big deal. I know you will be back on track today.

A day off is perfectly reasonable! You aren't starting a bad trend. I think you chose a good way to spend time with your family and enjoy each other. You also enjoyed running again today. From here you seem pretty well balanced!

Grin and Spark on... and just because you go over ONE DAY, doesn't mean you're headed back to where you started! Which, I know you already know, but gotta throw that out there! emoticon

I often say to my very very admirable clerk, "I'm not holding you to a standard of perfection . . . " when she finds it necessary to apologize for some slight (and she is SO GREAT) omission . . .

But yeah. Do tend to hold myself to a standard of perfection too.

We're good enough, Marsha. Yes we are.

(And in your case, way better than good enough!!)
