I went back and looked at my time from a year ago in the Ronald McDonald of Delaware "Run for the House" 5K -- I've made some strides!
Last year: 33:20 / 10:43 per mile pace
This year: 28:33 / 9:11 per mile pace
In that time, I've learned the importance of great running shoes, good training, good pre-race nutrition, and having a race plan!
All of these will be important in my upcoming 10K in July. One more 5K to run in (race TBD) before I tackle the "BIG" race.
