Productive Day

Sunday, April 21, 2013

Yesterday was a very productive day. The morning started out slow , it was cold and snowing... three days before it was 80 and sunny. Just weird.
After a bit I took the dogs out and did Sparkpoints for awhile, then hubby asked if I wanted to play Kinect golf with him for awhile , so we played golf with Dani ,, the boys didn't want to play. We ate lunch while playing, after that while I made dinner, Yes it took that long to play 18 holes of golf with our daughter ..... and stopping here and there for other things, the boy went to their dad's, hubby and I bowled 2 games on Kinect sports. Then I started dinner.
Dinner yesterday was a big hit with hubby and our DD , I made oven roasted chicken breast, egg noodles, mashed potatoes, corn and stuffing. It was good , well I didn't eat chicken, I don't know why but I didn't want it. Hubby and DD both ranted and raved bout dinner... made me feel good , I don't think our DD ever ate that much at one sitting .. she complained her belly was to full , we have problems getting her to eat , so this is huge. So I start to clean up and chose to wash dishes by hand , after I cut up the chicken, and put the egg noodles, and broth in a huge jar, I added in peas and carrots and wow, I have homemade chicken noodle soup for lunch today and for hubby to take to work with him tonight.
We rounded out the evening with watching Moneyball then The Hunger Games.
Today is day 224, I am thinking bout what I want for my goal of 250. The my next goal will be 300.
Keep Sparking

Sounds like a good an busy day. I like those days when I can look back and say look at all that I/we got done today. A helpful way to try to fight that evil nemesis of mine- PROCRASTINATION.

sounds like Saturday was a productive day for everyone...I cleaned sewing room, family room, living rm. Went grocery shopping, had lunch with cousin, went to son house, did one load of clothes, washed rugs for kitchen and bath rm. And replaced a 6ft zipper in a tent... emoticon It does feel good when you get that much done in one day....

Your chicken dinner sounds so good and great idea to make soup with the left overs...

I like a day when I can see the results of what I have been doing. Today I cleaned off the counter in my sewing room, walked up in the woods to empty the sap jugs on the maple trees and got the new canvas on the greenhouse. Oh, and also wrestled the shelves for the greenhouse over a 5 foot snow bank which was hard work!
