~~Principle: Be strong and take courage...

Sunday, April 21, 2013

Stay focused on completing your mission and you will be prosperous. Do not be afraid; God is with you.
Joshua 1:7-9 "Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayst observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: Turn not from it to the right hand or the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. This book of the law shall not depart out if thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein..."

~~taken from pp. 39-40 of "The Genesis Answer: From Chaos to Kingdom Order in Every Aspect of Your Life" by Susan McCarthy

This speaks to meditating and being obedient to God's word applying the messages to our own lives so we may think in a Kindom-minded way and be transformed.

I have had this book for years, but didn't take the time to focus and read the knowledge emitting from the page's content.

One of my repenting remorseful actions (or lack thereof) is not meditating on God's word more and being silent while He takes the lead and I follow. It is probably so common for us to use Him at our convenience and while things seems fine, we put Him and His word aside because "we've got it" [all under control]. I know I fall short of His glory, but I refuse to shortchange my path to Heaven and be odedient when my Father has made a clear, narrow path.

I must be strong and take courage to follow God's will for my life.
In Jesus name...
Amen!

emoticon Happy Sunday To You Sonya!

Thanks for stopping by and the lovely Goodie!!! YOU are a GIFT for ALL you do in Christ and in His Calling upon your life. I've not read this book or heard of it. I do know we are to be Kingdom Minded because we have eternal life NOW. It's so TRUE...we must meditate in the Word for ourselves and not depend all the time to get our WORD FIX just during service. We must KNOW what belongs to us and act on The Truth in The Word of God. The Holy Bible is FULL of GOD The Father, JESUS our Savior and HIs Holy Spirit. Meditating in The Word Shows us WHO God is to us and WHY Jesus Did ALL that He did for us. And still doing. I did not use to give The Word first place in the past, but now I make it a point to meditate the Word daily because it's our Spiritual Food that we must nourish ourselves with. I get excited about The Word of God! It's HEALTH too!!! And JESUS is The LIVING Word!!! emoticon
Enjoy a Marvelous Week Sis!!!
Love & Blessings!
