Recap of Weekly Goals

I couldn't have predicted I was going to need 3 days of yoga this past week, but I'm glad I planned for them. Even more glad I was able to get to do them.



Sunday, I did my 3 mile walk outdoors. emoticon

Monday, the yoga class was great. I returned to work relaxed and revived. Then I nearly threw up my lunch when the boyfriend handed me his iphone; he had CNN playing live. My knees felt weak, I nearly fell over... I couldn't believe what I was seeing. All I could muster to say was "Is this real?" It was very real. (For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, three words: Boston Marathon Bombings.)

Tuesday, I couldn't seem to clear the knot in my throat. I felt sad and angry... rest day, although I felt exhausted at the end of the day.

Wednesday, the yoga class was just what I needed: to focus inward, clear my mind, and just breathe. I left the class feeling 3 inches taller and tons lighter.

Thursday, rest day.

Friday, I definitely needed the yoga class. The instructor was great, she acknowledged how bombarded with images we were all week. It was a fun class, I needed that to end the week. emoticon

Today, rest day. I did clean out my closet. I tried on some clothes from the left side of the closet (small side). I'm excited!! Let's just say I'm ready for summer! My shorts fit!! I'm not trying on the swimsuits yet, but they're next. emoticon

So here's the plan for next week:



I'm not sure if I'll be able to escape work for the yoga classes again, since I'm taking Monday off to get my eye exam and my car serviced. (Ugh! I hate waiting around at the dealership, but it must be done.) I hope I pick a good pair of glasses, I've never picked a pair in my own. Usually I have someone with me for a second opinion.

    Yay for checking out the smaller side of the closet and finding some "new" things to wear.

    And don't worry about picking out new glasses, I'm sure they will be just as helpful as a friend would be. I've never had an issue with that when I went alone.
