"If you're tired of starting over, stop giving up"

Sunday, April 21, 2013

I saw that quote at the gym on Monday. And I realized that it describes my entire life when it comes to my weight. 3 years ago I lost 35 pounds, went from an 18 to a 10, and was only about 10 pounds away from my goal. Slowly I let 20 pounds of that come back on, and now here I am AGAIN, fighting to get back out of the 180's and back down to 170, which is where I was in the first place 3 years ago when I was almost at my goal.

For months now it's been the same thing: I try to get back on track, I don't see instant results, so I give up and eat out of frustration, and the number goes higher again.

No more. I will stay on this path, no matter how long it takes me to reach my goal, and I will not quit. Quitting means having to start over, and I'm tired of starting over.

set your goal one week at a time then reward yourself with a mani or pedi... something small that isn't food... Good luck in your journey and remember you need to BELIEVE in YOURSELF for the process to work... you must BELIEVE that you are WORTH IT!!!
