BLC 18: Letter to HalinHalf

Dear Hal,

We've stalled a little bit back there this winter, and I can't say we won't again. Just don't lose too much ground the next time. I hope you're seeing some new numbers and I hope you can run that 5k in record time (not that you running it at that great of a record haha!)

You are 24 now (Happy Belated Birthday btw), and I hope the last half of your twenties you are able to keep away from being overweight. This gives you less than a year now to reach your goal. It'll come fast.

I can tell you the "even if you don't succeed this time I'm still proud of you" jingle - however I'm in the tough love mood tonight. You need this, do it, continue it, fight for it, lose it. Go run without getting out of breath. Go zipline without worrying about weight restrictions. Go get that tattoo you've been wanting for about a year and a half. Don't let you define yourself by your weight.
