At the end of January I gained nearly 10 lbs. It is gone. Finally gone.
I had started drinking protein shakes. Gained weight in just over a week and was shocked. I figured it was the shake a day. My clothes didn't get tighter, but the scale said darn near 10 lbs. heavier than before. I stopped the shakes. I didn't take great effort to diet though. I may have added an extra hour a week to my workout routine. To be honest, after the initial shock of gaining 10 lbs I shrugged it off and went about my business. I am hoping to have an opportunity to do another one of those body composition analysis I did in January, right before starting shakes and gaining weight. I am curious to see a comparison.
I wonder if I will keep losing after picking up two extra high intensity cardio kickbox classes over the summer (as a long term sub). I'll be averaging 6 classes a week that I will be teaching, plus my own workouts.
I'll be careful. I've spent a nice penny on clothes for this summer that will fit well. Also, if I have to go down another bra size I will cry. I will. LOL
