OK, I'm struggling with writing this status update on my experiment with Marc David's Slow Down Diet. This week was all about rhythm: eating regular meals at regular times, managing consumption of macronutrients (fat, protein, carbohydrates), and even cutting back on caffeine to prevent its potential disruption of my body's natural rhythm for sleep and relaxation. I'm not struggling because of any of the tasks were too hard, but because I found them a little too easy (well, the caffeine part was a bit of a challenge!) and I haven't got a lot to report. I already eat at regular times, plan most of my meals, and get regular rest and play. The caffeine cutback was a bit of a pain (pun intended) but everything else was somewhat mundane. And, by mundane, I also mean that I didn't experience a terrible amount of personal growth this week. This won't stop me from continuing to eat regularly, limit caffeine, etc. It just means that I'm still in the same square as before. Poo.
But, on to next week - the Metabolic Power of Pleasure! Now THIS week ought to be worth writing about!!
