Today was my last day on cycle 2. I had intentions of eating well, but floundered a little at the end of the day. The worst time to flounder! Oh well, tomorrow is a new day. This is a lifestyle and I am aware and prepared for some days to be better than others. Tomorrow will be good and I will do better. I did get in a 2.2 mile jog this morning that felt really good. I felt strong. While jogging, I began thinking of how far I have come since my pre-jogging days. I started c25k and haven't stopped since. That was a blessing. Now I have found the 17 day diet and feel I have found my nutritional blessing as well. I now have the tools to control both my nutrition and fitness. It is up to me. I am excited about this. I still have a ways on my journey towards health, but I feel that I have come a long way and learned a lot. I have potential!
Cycle one stats:
Starting weight: 173
Ending weight: 166
Loss in cycle 1: 7 pounds
Cycle two stats:
Starting weight: 166
Ending weight: 159
Loss in cycle 2: 7 pounds
I have lost a lot of inches since starting this as well.
3/15/13 - a few days before starting cycle 1

Another 17 days and I will check on my progress again. I am prepared and expecting the loss to slow down although my losses so far haven't been to far outside of a healthy range...about 2 pounds a week I figure. 7 pounds over almost a 3 week period. I hope to continue losing at least a pound a week, if not two a week. We will see. With the wedding deadline behind me, I am not in a rush and don't mind it slowing down somewhat. I just need to keep my moment and focus on being healthy.
Tomorrow is day 1 of cycle 3 and I am anxious to see how that goes!
