Back, but forward, too!!!!

Another Saturday of reward-new additions are an azalea bush for the front yard and another blueberry plant, as they desire two for companionship! Unfortunately, I can't work outside today cuz the rain won't let me, but the plants are waiting for me out there, as well as all the plans I make when I think too much!!! This was the last week of the 5% challenge, one that I have to say, I could have done better at. No weight loss at all, which is a total bummer!! I've looked back over the past 8 weeks and realized, I could have done better. Yes, I have gotten my exercise numbers higher and more disciplined, and that is totally great!!!!! Now I will use the same reward system on my food intake. The next challenge starts in May. By that time, I hope to have developed a better mindset regarding my desire to lose weight. I do want it to be a lifestyle, but obviously, I need a more disciplined lifestyle!!!! I hope this summer to actually read the book "The Spark", which I think may help. Can you believe I've been on SP for almost 4 years and haven't read it yet? Anyway, it's onward to the battle, of the bulge, that is!!!!

Sounds like you've made up your mind to make more changes in your life. Well done. You can do it! You might have to change your rewards - or you won't have any more room for new plants!

    I'm in the same boat. But I think I'd be heavier if it weren't for the challenge which at least stopped me from just letting everything lapse. But I do need to discipline my eating more!
