Things went great this week!
I managed to set some ground rules already, like leaving on time (no matter what!) and ignoring everything that isn't work related. I work in "open space" environment, so sometimes it's really hard to ignore the noise, the shouting and the unpleasant remarks. Today I found out that water helps. Whenever I'm about to scream, I just pick up my 1,5 lt bottle and drink until it goes away - it calms me down.
The serenity prayer is a great idea!... I'm using a slightly different version: "God, grant me patience, 'cause if you grant me strenght I'm likely to kill them all...!"
