I have been so depressed for the past few weeks but now things are looking up for me. I have decided it was time for me to start looking at my goals more closely and I am thinking that there is one more goal that I have to set forth and that is finishing my second book. I am writing a new book titled Growing Up and so far I have 8 chapters finished and now I have to sit down and write the other 4 chapters. But to me this book will be an ongoing one because I hope to write more about my life as I get old and grey I hope.
I have been eating 3 meals a day and having a light snack at night and so far so good. I even tried asparagus and I love it. Its the first time I have tried it and it is really good. I went for a walk today and managed to get in over 2000 steps. I would go out again tonight but it is raining here now and it is playing havoc on my left leg. My doctor got the results of my MRI and now I have to wait for him to call and set up an appointment for me.
Here is something I thought you would all like.
I was sitting here today thinking and I think it is time for me to get off my butt and start exercising more often and so I did 120 minutes of cardio fitness and another 120 minutes of zumba. I even started working with my favorite exercise ball and weights today. I have 3 lbs and 5 lbs weights and 10 lb ankle weights as well. If I take time out of my schedule I can do this.
So this is me saying that I Susan Walsh plan to take 2/ 60 minutes a day and workout so I can lose this fat off my body and reduce my BMI each and everyday. I hope that I can keep it up. I know that on May 1 2013 I will because I plan to start the 17 day diet with one other member of SparkPeople as well. We just hope that we can get others to join us. I even have some of my best friends from Ontario Canada doing it with me.
