Skinny Tip of the day: Drink at least 3 Liters of water a day!
Which translates to drinking eight 8 oz glasses of water a day. :) I usually don't have a problem getting my water in. I really don't mind water at all, in fact, I get quite thirsty for it when I don't drink it. Of course, I have those days where I go half a day before I realize I haven't drank any water. Also, if I'm taking a trip or when I was working I would drink less water because it was inconvenient to take multiple bathroom trips (this is my bad habit). Either way, getting all my water in definitely helps! I feel good and my skin is clearer when I'm drinking all my water. I mentioned in a previous post that I also try not to drink soda at all, so this contributes to my water drinking habits. My favorite way to drink water, when I need to shake it up, is simply to squeeze a slice of lemon in it! So refreshing!
On to other things that are on my mind...
This time of year... two years ago.. I was finishing up two back to back surgeries. Recovery was harder than anything I had faced before. There was a lot of pain... a lot of negative thoughts. Today, I am MUCH healthier. My body is much stronger and my mind is healthier. Of course, I still carry with me 3 different scars on my stomach from all that I've gone through. I use to see them as ugly but, as time goes on, I see them more and more as just a part of me. A part of my journey in life. Either way, I'm so thankful to be here - with my family. I couldn't ask for anything more because they are more than I could ever dream of wanting and needing.
Well, I'm off to get some chores done! Trying to stay moving on this dreary day, even though it is a rest day. Keep moving ya'll! :)
