When I wake up in the morning the first thing I do is make myself a cup of coffee and take my pills I wake up happy and then I have to pet the cats I do some thinking about whot I plan to do that Day Look outside and see whot kind of day it will be Go on my computer then make breakfast No matter whot can happen I try not let it bother me It can get crazy put I do not let it get me down When you live with someone with dementia it is way different then you think it will be .That is were you need the peace of God Ask believe and he gives it to you .Without him you never make it Nature outside calms me down and gives me peace Then I learn that there is a order in things Things will change What God put in front of you has a purpose and life with God will never put you down With him you have more strength then you imagine With God we are strong Be happy with whot your life is It is the only one you got Make the most of it.Love light peace to you all

Dear Sandra, thank you for your insight on Joy!! Bless your heart as you take care of your Loved One. I pray that your strength will be renewed each morning..

I understand your love for cats..... they bring joy to our lives also. I only have one now inside, but around 10 outside and new kittens are coming now. :)

Speaking of joy, our kitty Cleo loves to play with the quilt when we make the bed each morning and at night when we take it down for the night. It makes us laugh. I told Bill yesterday that Laughter is good medicine for the soul...... God said it first and I believe it.......... God Bless You, Sandra emoticon

We may not always laugh out loud for the day, but we do have joy that no one can take away. Sandra, may the Lord always send someone to assist you with DH when you need it.

You are dealing with a challenge that can be very draining - dementia (regardless of what kind) is a terrible thing to happen both to the one who has the disease and those who suffer along with them. I think you are a fantastic HERO to draw from the strength and love inside you and from the Lord to help you not be defeated by the stresses it can cause. CAREGIVERS ARE SAINTS and more valuable than almost anyone who has not done it can possibly know. Bless you
