Day 20 How did that happen?

Wow, only 10 days left to the end of the challenge!

How are you doing so far?

I used my "get out of jail" card yesterday for our couples dinner out, most of it was on plan except for dessert.

Yes the scale is protesting today, but I am starting "The Plan" tomorrow and it fits in with this challenge well since you don't eat wheat until you test it, and I am pretty sure that when I test the wheat I will not "pass" it. Wheat just does not agree with me..

I made the flax granola this morning and I am about to make the carrot ginger soup!
It is going to be interesting to see if I can actually stick to the recipes. I never stick to recipes , I always change them up! LOL

I have a "steeped Tea" party this afternoon and am looking forward to taste testing a bunch of teas.
I am taking DD and SIL

I am down to NO COFFEE as of today! THAT IS SOMETHING!
And I am not really missing it either!

I did a lot of cleaning and hoovering yesterday and so I don't usually log it as exercise, although it is. I don't log it because I do it every week, so it is not out of the ordinary.
I tend to only log stuff that is out of the ordinary.

I am on to my 4th glass of water and lemon today!

Okay , I have to go to the bathroom!

    I have stopped having coffee too, so that is great for me.
    I also used a get out of jail as well. Had some chocolates
    but have given the rest away now. I have not weighed as
    I am on antibiotics and will check it out when I go to use
    the doctor's scales on Wednesday. I am also on my 4th
    cup of green tea with lemon. I should get some honey
    but am staying away from sugar and sweeteners.

    I did great replacing white carbs yesterday and today, but I used my get out of jail free card on some mint chocolate truffles. They were crazy good too!
    Did 30 mins of brisk walking today and 100 leg lifts. Tomorrow I'm doing a 5K, but probably gonna walk it...we'll see. Gonna weigh tomorrow too, because I want to see if the sugar did me in just like the bloat of TOM last week, or if I'm back on track.

    Good luck with starting The Plan...and I know what you mean about following recipes; I always add my own flair too.

    Day 20! Wow - where's the year going?

    Lots of protein today
    OK with 'good' fat and fruit
    Water's good and vitamins, supplements
    Lazy day today - listening to my body. Quality time with my neighbour/friend in the sunshine at a nursery and then at the house.

    Used my first get out of jail card yesterday. But not with a good reason at all. Ugh.

    Doing great so far today. I don't know if it's the nursing or what, but I feel hungry so often. And it's hunger, not just in my head. I feel it in my stomach. I think I may have lowered my calories too much this week. I'm glad to nurse, I know it's good for my little girl, but in a selfish way I cannot wait to have my body back to myself!

    Glad you are feeling better. Have fun a the tea tasting...sounds fun to me! Way to go on the water!!

    Wow. Way to go! I'm doing great so far. The scale still Isn't really changing. But I'm feeling great and for now I'll take that.

    Good luck with the plan and the recipes! Don't add stuff because that may upset the applecart... You can always do that later and make it a test!
    I used my get out of jail free card for the party Wednesday night and my body is still recovering :( Amazing what wheat does to my body! I always knew I had to be careful with it but it was a major "fail" when I did the Plan, so now I know for sure.
