Phase 3 - Day 5

OMG phase 3 is fantastic!! emoticon

Lots of good healthy fats. Yumm-o! Lots of variety from all macros for 3 days.

The plan says don't count calories, but I have been counting calories for over a year, so it is hard not to. Plus I was just curious as to how it would all play out.

She says calories dont really matter, it is the combination of foods eaten at certain times, which I am starting to see the effect. These are the same foods I use to eat, yet the scale was not budging. Now I strategically eat them for a specific benefit, and BAM! the scale is moving.

Anyways, I have had some low end calorie days - but only because I was too full to eat it all. She says you really need to eat it all, but since I am not exactly sure how much weight I should lose - all depends on where I am at once the fat is gone - so I probably should have had more on those days. It was the protein days that came in lower calorie. I know protein is more satiating for me.

So anyways, some on the low side, some on the medium side, yesterday was higher as I am sure today will be also, so over the course of the week, it all averages out.

I took measurements on day one. I havent taken those yet again.

Sleep was so-so, but that is normal for me. I am not tired when I wake up, I am usually ready to meet the day. Havent done my business yet, but wanted to weigh and eat breakfast.

Drum Roll please............. oh but remember, I didnt get to weigh yesterday...... okay so drum roll please....down 1.2! emoticon

Couldnt be happier. I know my losses this week includes some water gain. I had things over last weekend before I started the plan that I normally do not. I also tend to GAIN weight at this time of the month. So I am happy with any loss. So I am curious how the entire week will end up. I am even more curious what the coming weeks will bring, now that maybe the extra water is gone. emoticon

    Some years back I dated a guy who liked to work out and bulk up. He did not take steroids, but he changed his calorie counts daily. He could not bulk up any more when he ate large amounts of calories over and over because his body would plateau. So, he bounced his calorie counts all over and then did a few really super high days and he got really big. I wonder if this is like that....tricking the body so it doe not plateau....Congrats on the continued weight loss!
