I bought bananas, pineapple, avocado, coriander (that's cilantro to you in the States), tomatoes, onions (two kinds), rocket (otherwise known as arugula), lemons, limes, hot peppers, a dozen eggs, a couple of papaya (I don't like it, but the taxi driver I use all the time does, so I bought him some as a gift).

About 20 dollars American for two HUGE bags.

I complain about a lot of things here, but the pineapple is AMAZING!

Yeah, I loved the pineapple and bananas and oranges and grapefruits in Liberia!

Sounds like fun - when in Nigeria years ago, we couldn't find oregano - finally after searching everywhere we asked a friend who showed her mother the oregano we had brought from the states, the mother told the daughter where we could get it and why we had so much trouble. They didn't use the oregano in cooking, but the old women used it as a cosmetic when their feet cracked leaving pink showing to darken those raw cracks so they LOOKED more attractive. We just had to go to the "beauty" section of their markets. LOL
