I started the Better Sleep Challenge this week. I have always had a hard time sleeping because of too many things on my mind, so I thought this challenge would be hard, but actually it isn't hard at all. I don't have a perfect schedule, but I am doing pretty good for the first week!
I think a lot of it has to do with The SparkPeople program. Since I have started the program, I am more energetic, but more clam. The one problem I have, is the time I get up every morning is early, and by the time I get home after work, we eat later sometimes because of our schedules. My family has a very stressful schedule getting/taking the kids somewhere, etc. My husband seems to fall asleep within 30 minutes of eating, but I can't do that. I have a hard time going to bed too early. My bed time is around 10 pm, so I get about 6 1/2 to 7 hours of sleep.
Also, I only have the mornings and evenings to do things around the house, and I can't seem to find an end. I can't do to much at work because there is no privacy in Cubicle Land. Still, I have manage to go to bed relatively the same time. I off to bed now, and since tomorrow is Saturday, I am sleeping in a whole 30 minutes, which means I am getting up at 5 am instead of 4:30.
