I'm not tracking my food & exercise here, because I found an app I like better, but I figure it's good to have a place to think out loud.
It's been a few months, but no spectacular progress on any particular front. However, I've been having a long conversation with a friend who has lost 65 pounds in the last year and she's kicked me in the pants to get going again.
I started with trying to drink less - I've managed pretty well for a week or so. Since last Sunday I've had two beers on Tuesday night and that's it. Then I started tracking food yesterday. This week I'm shooting to get back in the gym, at least for some cardio.
I have a lot to lose, I know. I'm shooting to lose a couple pounds a week, since I have a long haul to go. I want to focus on eating not-too-much, and eating things that are tasty and fresh and delicious, and not drinking a lot of extra calories.
Today I've had two pork chops, a couple of salads, a lot of water and a tiny bit of ice cream.
