I have changed the recipe a tad do to the reviews I read. So it such turn out good. With this cooking all night the house is going to smell good in the morning!
Apple Cinnamon Slow Cooker Oatmeal
2 c. rolling oats ( I am using steel oats )
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 granny smith apples. peeled and diced ( i am using Fuji Apples leaving the skins on for added fiber)
1/2 c. evaporated 2% milk
Coat the insider of the slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray. ( I am using a liner)
add all the ingredients to the slow cooker. then pour 6 c.water. ( I am using 5 c. water)
Cover and set on low heat for 8-9 hours.
Makes 6 one cup servings
Reviews stated that using the rolled oats and 6 c. water that it came out meshy. The reviews suggest to make it the way that I have changed it.
