No more excuses!

I've had several excuses for not exercising this afternoon.

1) The endless talking heads in Boston. Suspect now captured and en route to the hospital. No longer a valid excuse.

2) Too hot. It's cooling off outside, and I have a fan set up next to the treadmill.

3) No Red Sox game to walk to. True. But I have the live stream of the Port Chester Furthur concert. They're on break now, but the 2nd set'll start in a bit at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/

4) The donkey has loose stools. My husband will eventually come home with an electrolyte solution to put in her water. Nothing more I can do until the vet comes out tomorrow.

5) I'm dying for a gin & tonic. It will be my post workout reward. I already ate my daily ration of chocolate.

6) My nose is stuffy. For this, there are Kleenex.

So, excuses exhausted, I will now don my sneaks and hop onto the treadmill. See you in 10,000 steps or so.

    I had a week of excuses, too.

too tired.
had a headache.
had to go shopping.
had to go out to lunch.
sinuses were bothering me.
had baking to do.
had to prepare meals.
a really interesting episode of Dr. Oz that I wanted to watch.

I'm done making excuses now.

    Good for you!! I have had a rather lost week. I fell off of my Bootcamp wagon. I had completed 2 weeks and then stuff started happening and I didn't do any bootcamp workouts all week. I still did plenty of cardio and I have stayed within my caloires and still drank all my water so I don't feel too terrible about it but guilty nonetheless for finding excuses for not following through. I find that when my days are not structured (we were on break from school this week) that I am not as organized and it is harder to stick with my routine. I am in CT and was actually in Boston on Wednesday so I was also very caught up in that whole escapade. So glad it is over. Almost, but not quite glad that I will be back to work on Monday and get back to business. I'm not sure if it is allowed but I plan to pick up on week 3 where I left off. Hope all your "excuses" get resolved and enjoy your gin and tonic emoticon
