Today is day 3 of my squats and I got them in. I had posted the same picture/ breakdown on Facebook and have a following of friends and family that are now doing it with me. My aunt and I text one another when we are done and my Mom even is doing it. She wasn't going to do it at first until I took the workout and stretched it into a 60 day challenge for her. She said today that she has even included counter top pushups! I'm so proud of her!
Tomorrow is my first rest day and I won't lie I'm looking forward to not doing any squats. Inner thighs hurt a little bit and it will be good to have the rest. Sunday brings on 70 squats and I'm going to try and get in at least 30 to 40 before taking a small break.
I also have found an AB workout that I will be starting as of May 1st and I'm looking forward to this one also. If I get brave enough I might just start it early. I really want flat abs and know that I need to put in the hard work to get there.
Tonight I was talking to one of my best friends from back home and she told be out of the blue how fantastic I looked. She said that she saved the squats and Ab challenge on her phone and would try to get it in. I think that I'm going to start texting her once I'm done with mine for the day and see if that helps give her the drive and motivation she needs.
I also got "thank you's" from friends on Facebook for helping them get motivated by seeing my progress and making the posts that I do. I had to give them thanks right back because it is the small things like that which keep me going when I get down on myself. I'm my own worst enemy a lot of times and to get the feed back I do from others sure does help, so I let them know that.
