best laid plans..

Friday, April 19, 2013

Again I was through with my tasks and looking at a nice liesurely nap when Murphy popped his head up...as in Murphy's Law. The pleasant lady I spoke to earlier in the day called to ask if she and hubby could pop over from work...in 15 minutes...so of course I said yes...after all they want to buy sheep...I want to sell 'em. So...of course they were very nice and fun to talk to...and they will be buying 6 of my ewe lambs...good, profitable time. I figure I can nap for an hour before feeding...again.

Wise choice, so now will you be growing rye for profit? The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry don't they? (Sorry, a quote that will forever stick in my mind in infamy..I read it too young (perhaps about age 8) and in context. Nice work, and didn't think much about it. Yet I kept hearing this quote for years...Never associating what I'd read until I was in about my 2nd year of college..Oh my word! I hadn't pronounced it properly when I read it the first time! One of those personal mental embarrassment things. You mean it's not awe ree?? LOL
