Yeah, I know, I didn't blog in forever and now you can't get rid of me. It just helps me to blog how I'm feeling, then I can look back at what I ate and my blog if there's any issues, ya know?
So I am tracking what I'm eating and I can't believe how little I've been eating! I don't really feel the need to eat a lot because I'm so satisfied from the protein. I'm still dealing with the "carb flu" or "carb hangover" but I'm just resting up my body. I would've gone for a walk today but it was sooooo crappy outside today. I even saw snow! (Again! Will spring ever come to Wisconsin?! LOL) So I'm just resting, I'm hoping to be able to go back to Zumba on Tuesday. I know what the symptoms of detox are, I've done it before, just not with Paleo. This has got the be the strictest I've ever eaten and I'm proud of myself for sticking with it. Knowing what I know (and still learning, I haven't finished reading "The Paleo Solution" by Robb Wolf yet) I'm never, ever going back to my old way of eating. I can't believe things that I thought were good for me are in fact toxic to my body! I'm just so glad I'm learning this all now and that I'll be able to live the rest of my life being much healthier!
I do wish the cravings would go away though. I know they will, with time, but I still find them to be annoying! I'm not craving bread too much, it's cheese I find myself craving the most. I wish it would pass already! I know I'm being impatient, but it's annoying. LOL
So I'm just working on getting in lots of water to flush out the toxins, eating properly, resting my body, and go for a walk should the weather improve. Like I said, I'm hoping to return to Zumba next week. It'll depend on how I feel though. Otherwise, I'll be walking. I do think I'm going to do some yoga tomorrow. That should help!
