Friday - welcome to the weekend

Friday, April 19, 2013

Thinking of all my friends, everywhere, with prayer.

Glad it is Friday after four days in a row at working, I am tired.

Slept pretty good but was still tired. More tired now that work is done.

Did my 10 minutes of exercise this morning, and walked 2 miles at work. Brought lunch, at healthy. Breakfast - toast with the gluten free bread my dh made, with peanut butter and a cup of coffee, lunch, rice pasta with sauce and meatballs (leftover from last night's supper), applesauce. a protein bar at my break. And supper is on its way ... Hungry...

Now it is the weekend and time for R&R.

There is rain, after a little bit of sun today. My dh cleared out the leaves in my front flower bed for me, and pruned my roses. So sweet :)

The name of the book I was listening to yesterday was Nine Lives - the one about a chef. I want to read the whole book.

Since my allergist is going to test me for wheat and egg allergies, I am curious as to what happens if it shows I am not allergic. I do not have any true food allergies, that I know of. Mostly environmental. I do react to some nuts - but the dr. says it may be the preservatives, so I try to get nuts that are without those funny sounding chemicals. Will have to wait and see.

Enjoy the weekend-rest and relax and recharge those internal batteries before another week starts.
How sweet of your DH to clean out the flowerbed for you. It is the little things like that that mean more than any grand gesture-at least in my book!
    Have a wonderful weekend.
