Really, one must truly have a list of excuses to keep up for 3 years. But, I did. One after another...
I joined the gym in early January, hurt ankle, came back mid January, caught the flu and finally came back to gym in mid February after tons of excuses. I guess I ran out...
I have been going since mid February. 2 months now. Best thing I have done for my physical and mental fitness in years!
Life has a way of kicking our tail doesn't it? We get down, we get sad, we get to feeling sorry for ourselves. We let ourselves put in excuse after excuse. Again, no more!
I have lost 2 pants sizes in 2 months. How all my friends say? Easy really. Exercise more, eat less. Really. Move more and simply be smarter about what you eat. As my doctor would tell me, calories in, calories out. I know, it isn't the same for everyone and many people have challenges way beyond mine. I have a hypoactive thyroid and take a syntheticthyroid medication every morning. I had crossed over to be diabetic but trying to fix that with diet and exercise. I have blood pressure issues too...again diet and exercises. I have heel spurs that are simply nasty, but keeping up my exercise has helped those! So, I understand so many folks issues...I have my own, but we have to keep moving, get healthy, and feel better!
