I won't lie.

This month has been a bust exercise-wise. I got sick exactly on March 30, & on Easter Sunday had to go lay down while guests were still in my house.

I've been coughing, sneezing achy miserable ever since...finally went to Doc last Monday, where I was given antibiotics & two different inhalers.
I feel like I cannot get a good breath & a cough chokes my throat closed.

All through this I've curled up like a cat on the couch on nights off, laying around & watching movies.
& I can't lie.
I went over my calories more nights than not.

& guess what.
It shows.

That's the reeally unflattering one.

but even this one, where I thought I'd looked good when I left the house to go out, but I do not.

So, I feel crummy.
Not giving up, but not feeling that gung-ho.

& Summer is two months away.

When we don't feel great and we are off our game we tend to be hard on ourselves. YOU ARE GORGEOUS. Love yourself and take it got this!

Personally I think you look beautiful in both pictures. You are naturally beautiful.

I had that horrible crud too, got it on Januray 24 and it took 2 months to get to feel human again and I still have lingering symptoms. I exercised little and ate whatever and paid for it but you have little choice with something this bad. Feel better soon, GF!!

The weather changes should help both of us get back on track. We can do this!

and, not knocking the photographer, though not all images are created equally--- I'm in photography school and the person, and lens have a lot to do with how the person is shown in the image

I used to get sick everytime I started a workout program. Eventually we found out I had a wheat allergy that was stressing my immune system,. then the exercise stressed it more and I'd get sick. Have been gluten free almost 3 years, ( this mothers day) and am restarting now. Hope you get well soon. emoticon

Don't worry about your temporary set back. Once you are feeling better, you'll get back to your exercise routine. Hugs,
And, you are always lovely.

Hope you start feeling better, then you can refocus on everything else. Pretty hard to exercise and worry on calories when you just don't feel good. Be kind to yourself.
Honestly- I think you look good in both pics. We're always our own worst critic.
Take Care!

I am not sure that you are seeing yourself clearly. I think you look great. I agree with PURPLESPEDCOW. The #1 priority is to feel better. You have to get healthy to be able to make a plan and stick with it. One step at a time. You got this.

I think you look lovely, but I understand what you mean. I'm not sick, but the knee situation has me at a standstill (ha ha) in terms of cardio. You'll get back into the swing of things when you're feeling better.

Once you can breathe properly again you'll be able to get back to those workouts and you will be rocking your shorts again for the summer.
You are always beautiful to me.
