Standoff in Boston

Friday, April 19, 2013

I am glad they know who planted the bombs at the marathon, and even happier that they have killed one, but this constant news showing everything going in outsside their homes is nerve wracking to me and I feel for the families who are trapped in doors watching all this round the clock and pray there are some stations that are actually showing tv shows so that they are not attached to these news channels.

It is more frightening seeing that outdoors is empty except for the police and rescue people. The ones I see this hardest on are the kids. How does a parent explain this to all of them so you are not instilling more fear into them

Not sure if they have lifted the request, not to use your cell phones in case there is a bomb close to them and they set it off.

they are in my prayers. We have several friends up there and have reached out via email and they truly are tired of being trapped

they captured him. He is wounded and they are not sure if he will survive.

Have turned it off for most of the day, they seem to have found something that may be this kid in a boat.
Our country is so protecting those citizens and trying to make the best of an this situation. I am praying and trying to not watch. But something it's so difficult.

This lockdown must be unprecedented. I know there's a reason for all of this, but at what point do the "terrorists win"?

The effects of terrorism are rather like ripples on a pond, they spread and spread and spread.
