my living room needs to be very afraid

I have an action plan to de-clutter and organize my living room. This plan is to be completed by April 27,2013.
Step 1: Go through the overflowing "stuff-I-am-going-to-use-to-ma
ke-s*#!-with-someday" box. I can keep anything as long as the lid will close.
Step 2: Clear off flat surfaces of the unused desk, put things where they really go, and evaluate whether/where to keep items.
Step 3: Clear the papers and books off of the ottoman and put everything where it belongs. Move the ottoman away from the computer as a preventative measure.
Step 4: Clear off all other flat surfaces in the room and decide what stays and what goes.
Step 5: Create permanent homes for items that I am keeping.
Step 6: Load up and deliver any donations.
Step 7: ebay or craigslist any items I plan to sell.
Some questions I can ask myself while I am evaluating items are:
*Do I love this?
*Is it useful?
*Does this belong here?
And I'm off!
I threw out a bunch of recyclables from the 4.5 cubic feet junk box and downsized to a 1.22 cubic feet box. I cleared off all the flat surfaces. They were mostly covered with stuff that already had a "home" just needed to be put away properly. Nothing to donate or sell, so I am finish! Picture is of zen garden table after being "weeded" of the clutter. Yay!
