One week ago I set a goal. I decided I would lose 2 lbs a week for 22 weeks, for a total of 45 lbs by September 13, 2013 (my birthday). I decided how I was going to get there and I made immediate changes.

I decided that if I'm going to do this I need to pack my gym bag the night before and take it to work with me. If I'm all packed and ready to go the night before, I can just go straight there and bust out a workout before I go home. My boyfriend is behind me 150% and is taking care of the dog while I am at the gym, taking care of housework, and has been showing interest in what I did while I was there, and how it went. To have the support behind me is making this so easy!

I decided that I would makde a huge pot of healthy soup and prep all of my ingredients for salads, so that making lunch would be easy and planned out for me so I didn't end up eating crap because I failed to plan. Lunches are made, ready to go in the fridge with minimal prep work. This morning my alarm didn't go off, I woke up late and I still have a healthy lunch packed!

I decided that I was going to have hot lemon water in the morning to wake my body up, and in the evening before bed when I am craving a snack. This is making me feel great!!!

And as a result of those changes, I am down 5.5 lbs in one week. WOO HOO! That motivates me to go kick some serious ass in the gym today and shows me that my simple changes have been great ones!
