Getting Back in the Swing of Things

I canít believe that I am still somewhat sick from this cold. I am still coughing and stuffed up. Not to mention, I have been feeling really really lazy. All my energy flew out the window. It has been a really lazy week. Anyway, I plan to get back into my workouts easy. I do not want to injure myself and I am still so tired. So, right now I am going to concentrate on walking and my kettlebell workouts, but to take it easy and not push to full gusto. I do not want any further injuries. My left shoulder has been quite stiff and painful from lack of exercise, so I need to find that sweet spot for it to get some therapeutic exercise but not to much to cause injury.

Today is a brand new day for meeting goals and its time to get serious. I stepped on the scale today and read 222 lbs- yikes! Oh well, it is what it is. It is time to get this body moving in the right direction. Although I do not really care what the scale will read at the end of my transformation, it obviously needs to go way down. My target weight for my height and frame is about 130, so we will see. I am going to lean and rely on the Lord for the strength to stick to my diet! The support I have from my wonderful Spark friends keep me motivated to press for the mark!!

Fridays Goals:
Walk 1 mi

Stick to my diet

Drink 64 oz water

Kettlebell swings 10 min

    I have no idea why there is no cure for the cold yet. I do know opinion is divided whether to exercise or not, but you do have added reasons to try movement. The scale is not friendly each time we step on it but it hasn't been taught who is boss yet! emoticon "Weight" until next weigh-in, so teach it a valuable lesson. emoticon
