Sun is out, breeze moving the wax leaf myrtles in the frenzy of an aerobic exercise class and guineas chattering alarm. Dr. Jeffers and Jeramiah preach from Mom's kitchen and I am at a lull...a shortened one, now...lol. I just got a call from a lady wishing to purchase young ewes to start her flock....so I will be counting sheep today to see what I have to sell. Mom stood in the doorway and is excited about the prospect of decreasing the flock...we are both a bit weary from feeding babies...but it is a good weariness.
I am eager for the warmth to increase though the north wind offsets that. Regardless, I will mow the yard, put lambs in the guinea pen, clean the greenhouse and get that barn in order...an ongoing task...that's how I always know I am alive as there is always stuff that needs doing.
Breakfast was a couple of small flour tortillas, mayo and a couple of ounces of ham...two cups of coffee...sipped at liesure after the mad dash to feed everybody. I am looking at a container of fruit salad for a snack later on....working towards healthier food through the day...time to bundle up and get movin.
