Non scale measure of progress yesterday.

Friday, April 19, 2013

I stopped by my local Sears store yesterday to look at the spring clothes. Decided to try a few on. One was a pair of shorts in a size 10, they were Canyon River Blues and they were HUGE! I used to think the clothes at Sears ran small. Everything I picked was too big. I wear a misses size M or S and probably a size 8 pant or short. I found what I was looking for in the petites section. There I'm a Large.
Found a cute sundress and some other cute stuff. Next time I have to try on smaller sizes though.

Yes it does feel really great. I've been working out with weights every other day and my weight is kind of stuck at about 145. I'd be discouraged but I think my body is changing in a good way. Today I found a really cute jacket at Kohl's for $22 regularly $90 and it was a size 8. I probably wouldn't have tried it on if I hadn't had the Sears experience yesterday. The jacket fits great and I bought it. Yippee!!
