My new exercise buddy?

Friday, April 19, 2013

This morning as I awoke and turned on the tv to PBS 4U and debated on whether I should do Classical Stretch. The theme music started, and a pair of eyes were staring at me.

She was sitting on a string (her way of saying "I want to play with this") But the theme music was playing and my body was now telling ME to move. What to do... Exercise or play with the cat?

So I picked up the string and started my exercise. As my arms moved, she moved, chasing the string as it flew through the air. It was both amusing and distracting to see her get a workout as I got mine. The distracting part was I did not focus on my form as much since her enthusiasm entertained me so. She stretched and leaped moved with such focus and precision in order to catch that string.

She got in her playtime and is now napping. But what a delight it was to have a companion for my workout this morning. I wonder, is she my new exercise buddy?

The cat is very cute and looks like she is happy to be with you. If she is your new fitness buddy you will need to work on entertaining her and also getting the correct form for you.
Have a blessed week-end emoticon

OH! I LOVE YOUR CAT! Is she a purebred? I would love to know more about her!

We have a cat that we adopted, or like most dumped cats -- she adopted us! She's a longhair black cat and doesn't even know how to play. emoticon But we know she was a pet at some time as she was fixed! (As we found out when we took her to the vet to get her ....fixed!)

This is such a beautiful photo of your cat. Is it professional?

Congrats on your new exercise partner....giggle!!!

My cat tries to kill me when I do yoga. Attacking my standing leg in balance posture or tickling my nose when I am bending . . . I think it's his way of telling me I need to play. That string might be the secret :D

Awwww she's SOOOO cute!! My cats tend to chase my shadow & I'm always afraid to step on them so I have to shoo them out of the room if I do any dvd stuff.
