Ate more and weighed less!

Friday, April 19, 2013 had raised my calorie range by 300 calories a couple of weeks ago when I was in the middle of month two of Insanity. I was worried!

I also had to buy a new scale and I know there is always a difference when changing scales. I've had my new scale for a few weeks now, so the difference between scales should be in the past and I'm assuming that this weigh in is accurate. I like that it gives my BMI, too.

I guess I didn't need to fret. I weighed 2 lbs. less this morning! I'm not trying to lose more, but I'll admit that it was a "nice" surprise. It looks like the research is right. We need to feed and fuel our bodies.

I'm trying to figure out a way to share this with my oldest daughter who is still recovering from her eating disorder. (I know it will be a life long recovery.) She is still on the right path. Last night she was filling out her housing form for college and asked where she should list her eating disorder on her form. I almost fell over!!!! She really is trying!

I can't express my appreciation enough to ALL of YOU for the support you've given me! I really don't think I would have been as successful without ALL of YOU! I truly wish I could fly everyone to a nice warm spot and celebrate all of our successes and the wonderful friendships that have developed here! THANK YOU! emoticon

Good for you and your daughter too. Not only is she aware, but she is just like the rest of us only we are on the other end of the spectrum and it will be a lifelong change for all of us, her included. I am very happy for both of you.

Being able to eat more is a nice benefit of maintenance. How nice to see that scale number. Good luck to your daughter as she continues her recovery.

Good for you! You're a wise woman for following good guidance. Our bodies need an adequate number of calories to burn fat, and hopefully, your daughter will see this, too. You're a good mom.
