Woke up with a screaming headache. Work's been hard. There's a reorg going on. Apparently hard work is not rewarded. Ass kissing is. So frustrating.

Weight gain, Boston Marathon bombing…

I'm not in a good place right now.

On a [happier?] note, I'm starting the Eat To Live approach to healthier eating tomorrow. I'm both hopeful and afraid. The plan is to eat unlimited fruits and raw and cooked non-starchy veggies and beans, and very little of other stuff. Since I'm an emotional eater, this has me worried; I could hold up a McDonald's on Tuesday!

    you have to learn to kiss ass where they think you ARE but NOT REALLY and your sticking it to them........ it takes practice!lol

    No matter how it goes, you will definitely learn a LOT if you try ETL.
Being a binge eater (sadly), I felt that doing it to a T was making life (much) harder for me. So I now apply the general rules but in a more 'loose' way. The result is that I learned many new ways to prepare healthy foods, got a lot more insight into how my body works (and that it works and feels much better the more vegetables I eat), and that I now eat much healthier than I did before. Before, ice cream and candy were considered 'treats' by me. Now, things like (spelt) bread, cheese and eggs are 'treats' (and no longer 'healthy foods'). The ice cream and chocolate are now on my list of poisons - be it that I know I will have a little of them now and again or I'll snap and eat buckets of them.
So to me it's a process not so much a 'switch' from one style of eating to another.

Hang in, it's almost the weekend.

Take some time for yourself and RELAX.

Maybe take Monday as a sick day.
You have like what, 500 comp days?
Make work miss you!
Then they will appreciate you!
