Update on goals for April

Here are my updates for April:

Spiritual
emoticon So my goal was to listen to more praise music. Praise music has really been key this month! I have started My day out with praise & worship music. So When we get up in the morning I turn on the fish or K-Love & make breakfast.

emoticon Another goal was praying more. So this month our church had a session on praying for the lost. It was awesome!!! So I have been praying more and learning new techniques...

emoticon I have been focusing more on Jesus than my circumstances. I do have my moments where my focus shifts, but when I catch myself I put my focus back on Jesus!

Mental & Emotional
~ For sleep I haven't been getting adequate sleep. I go to bed early but just can't seem to fall asleep or I have a bad night mare and don't want to go back to sleep. So a friend suggested listening to praise music while I'm trying to sleep, so I've tried it for 4 days & I have had dramatic improvement in the quality of sleep I get!

emoticon For inspirational quotes I have read sooo many and did you know the Bible is full of them?!?!

emoticon As far as keeping things positive, as long as I trust in Jesus & focus on Him, I am positive. It's when I focus on my circumstances that get me into trouble. So I am filling my mind with scripture, quotes, worship & praise songs, & thankfulness. It's amazing how much peace you have when you focus on your Creator & Heavenly Father!!!

Physical
emoticon As far as exercising consistently for 5-6 days, I have accomplished with flying colors! So far 883 calories this month, yeah!!!

~ As far as tracking my food 1-2 times a week, I am sad to say I haven't done it... So that is something I will be working into next month's goals.

emoticon I have accomplished this goal! Eating fish 1-2 times a week is tasty and good for you!!!

emoticon It's amazing how eating dinner earlier in the evening helps improve my sleep! So I am making this a keeper! Who knows maybe I will lose more weight by incorporating this new tip into a routine.

emoticon As far as getting moving and burning more calories, I have found plenty to do around the house and outside to do. It is getting nicer outside so I know there will be even more to do once it warms up a little more!

~ I haven't weighed or done my measurements yet, so I won't be able to update you on that until that day.

~ As far as getting my son outside more and moving around, it's been difficult. There has been a lot of rain, so it's hard to go for a walk in the rain. So as it warms up and on days that aren't rainy I will be getting him outside more.

So as you can see there is a lot of goals that were accomplished and there are some things to work on. Have a wonderful evening all!
