For Boston

Thursday, April 18, 2013

I'm in a running group called Black Girls Run. From April 16 to April 19, we are running in memoriam for those who were injured or killed as well as those who did not finish the marathon. We are doing either of the following: 26.2 minutes, 2.62 miles, or 26.2 miles. Tonight, I ran/walked a little over 26.2 minutes. I felt so proud, because it goes to show that bad things may happen, but good always wins! Like the Bible states, what the devil means for evil, the Lord will turn it around for our good! Now, families may not ever see loved ones again and injured parties may have been hurt, but look at the good this senseless tragedy is bringing out. People are praying and running! I am so grateful that I participated in this memoriam.
