Naughty or Nutritious?

Thursday, April 18, 2013

Oh, avocados! Why are you so delicious, nutritious, but always screw up my goals for the day?

Avocados always make my amount of fat too high. I try to console myself by saying it's all GOOD fat...but I still feel bad when I see those high fat numbers. I wish SP had some way of not counting avocados towards the shaming message you get if you go over.

So cut back for the day on other sinful pleasures. There is a place for avocado in a healthy lifestyle. Work it out so you can have it!

Avocados are very healthy and part of the Mediterranean Diet. They offer many health benefits. It is good to include them in your diet. I would disregard some of the Spark fat results.

Avocados just slide down the throat much like ice cream.. it's a fact of life that we all just have to live with ;-)

Fat is unjustly maligned. Especially the olive oil, nuts and avocados kind.

Avocados are fabulous!

I eat the WHOLE THING! Eating "some" of an avocado for me is nearly impossible. Yes...I know...that's not the recommended serving size.
