Recently hubby went to a sleep therapist. I had heard most of her suggestionsbefore but there were two new ones that I have been following. The first one is to turn off the TV at least an hour before going to bed and do not watch "upsetting" or "thought provoking" programs before that. The other is that if you don't fall asleep within 20 minutes after you lay down to go to sleep, get up and do something until you do get sleepy.
Last night I woke up at 2:45 and couldn't get back to sleep. I had lost my extra car key and I guess I had been worrying about where it was. So, I decided to look for it in my walk-in closet. I've been accused of being organized (boy do I have people fooled) so I started to go though boxes and divide stuff into 'put back, 'take to GoodWill', or 'move to its proper place'. I got to the last box and guess what............I found my key. It was right where I had put it so I wouldn't loose it. (I even told hubby were I had put it but he didn't remember it either. )
I ended up going back to bed after about an hour. Now that I found the key, I hope to sleep like a baby tonight!
