Today the crocuses, snowdrop and daffodil sprouts are free of the blanket of white.
In a tiny corner of the front yard clings just a bit of snow. The pile that is really reluctant to depart is out back, leftovers from the raked roofs topped with an icy mix. But the colors are beginning here in a northern shire.
...even though this little blossom continues to celebrate winter. And look at the daffodils...well... the leaves anyway!...Ooops the photo won't upload...You can imagine.
We'll have chicken, potato and broccoli with a fresh green salad for our lunch. This was supposed to be much earlier in the afternoon...hours crept up on us...5:50 PM already...obviously it's supper!
Had fun practicing for tap class and doing laundry/ironing (which count, right?) and vacuuming? Well maybe ten minutes worth.
Don't want to be too clean.
Cellar is dry again; hose pulled in, window well cover replaced...Flood is officially over!
Bedroom windows are open now , too....Ahh S-p-r-i-n-g!!
