There are only 14 days of April left- wow! So, picking myself up from a tiny mental health set back yesterday I wanted to recheck in with my April goals to see what else I can do to make the most of these last 2 weeks AND see what I have done pretty good on so far too.
1. Food Goals:
Track daily (more than I did in March) and maybe blog weekly report to hold daily trackings accountable
So far, I've been logging all calories on a printable April calendar that is taped right next to my computer. It tracks food, fitness, mental health, and motivation as well as having some April goals written at the top of the calendar too.
Start tracking water- dropped the bar on this one, even if I have been making myself drink more water, I haven't tracked it at all
2. Fitness Goals:
TOTAL MONTHLY MINUTES: 2500
overestimated this HUGE number and the math shows I am not going to reach it before the end of the month, changed it to 1500 and edited my ticker to show that goal instead
Wear Fitbit 5 days a week and spend more time on treadmill when hubby is home to watch kiddo five 5 days a week, this means 5pm workouts, but maybe those are less stressful
So far I have Fitbit data for the following days in April: 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 14th-17th...so I was a little late in starting this goal, but still some days when I don't a Fitbit entry logged I have "treadmill for 30 mins" logged instead
Look into gym memberships with child care
We def. joined a gym and I've visited it 3 times, not as much as I would like but its a start.
I already acknowledged lack of strength training and will plan that into my future goals.
3. Mental Health/Fun Goals:
Listen to more KLOVE, or custom YouTube lists
Read at least 3 books for fun
Take time to work on novels 5x a week
I have read The Bean Trees, The Help, and The Secret Life of Bees (even recording the movies if I can find them too)
KLOVE had a pledge drive so I avoided them for awhile (we did go to church the past 2 Sundays AND one church dinner in the middle of the week), but I did finally complete my 10th Avenue North playlist
I need to better define my writing goals, but I have worked on my novels some, just not tracking when
BONUS: I also got to go out to dinner with 2 friends in two consecutive weekends (muy spoiled!) and I get to see my other best friend on the 27th, very excited to see her since she lives so far away!
Check into Sparkpeople daily- spin the wheel
Give goodies away 1-3 times a week
Blog when possible
Huddle with teams
Post-it posted where I can see it each morning
The Self- Compassionate Diet starting soon!
The Heavy chapter 3
I started The Self-Compassionate Diet book club in team MOTIVATORS, and try to comment on other threads, welcoming new members, and member blogs almost every day too. I also joined two teams I believe very strongly in, Can't Do This Alone and Love Yourself, even if I am not an active member in those teams it helps to see them on my list of teams.
Didn't develop a system to hold myself accountable for checking into SP daily, but ya know, I think I do that anyway so I count that goal as met.
I also text 2 Sparkpeople members regularly. I have been keeping up with that, if anything, just to wish each other a great day!
I have huddled with teams and kept up with 1 out of 2 book clubs, def. blogging semi-daily, and I didnt track goodie giving so not sure on that one
I have not been doing Post-its lately- very sad!
Weekly Reports if I don't get online daily
I have been posting weekly reports for MY GOALS, and Fitbit Data. It seems overly reporting works for me. I log fitness minutes in 4 different places and calories in 3 different places.
