"Kom kmal mesulang." [gome-ckmal-me-su-lahng]
That's the Palau equivalent for "Thank you."
With this slower than dial-up internet, I have hardly been able to check sparkmail, or my page, so I just saw that I was in the Spotlight for WiS5%Challenge Team and that I got an Extra Capital A of the Day.
I want to thank both of these teams for the motivation and support. I would like to especially thank our team leaders
It's a lot to have jobs, families, and their own minutes and LTGL points, and be checking our numbers, answering our questions, keeping track of our weight losses, and encourage all of us on the team.
At first, I was so sure I could get my 5% off, but when I got home, to all the sorrow and issues here in Palau, I realized it may not be. I missed almost an entire week of exercise because of traveling (Kauai to Oahu, Oahu to Guam, Guam to Palau). Should have arrived in Palau on the 3rd, but due to landing gear issues (the landing gear working is pretty important) we had to leave the next day... and then there's the International Dateline issue. So I gained weight. When I got here, things were fine, but we came and started to support a revival series given by a friend and helped with the "free clinic" during the day... that meant evening meals, which is not my usual practice and I thought TOM would arrive...gained more weight. Now I am getting over a cold... and I am just hoping I lost some of what I gained... but 5%? Nope.
I'm so glad to be a part of these teams, because it really helps me to keep on going in spite of all these setbacks. I'm hoping that in the next 5% challenge, I will get my 5% for sure. I admit, I will be traveling most of May, so I can only hope for the best. I hope in addition to the Spring into Summer 5% Challenge there will also be a Summer 5% Challenge. I do want to reach my goal and I love the support of the Awesome A's and the 5% Challenge teams.
