YOU WERE FORTUNATE TO KNOW YOUR WONDERFUL GRANDMA. BOTH MINE DIED BEFORE I WAS BORN. BUT I HEARD GOOD STORIES ABOUT THEM.
ONE GRANDMA WAS MARRIED TO GRANDPA AT AGE 15 AND DIED AT AGE 35 OF TB. 5 CHILDREN WERE DISTRIBUTED AMONG RELATIVES TO RAISE. MY DAD GOING TO AN UNCLE.
MY OTHER GRANDMA HAD BEEN A SCHOOL TEACHER BEFORE MARRYING THAT GRANDPA. SHE RAISED 4 BOYS AND A GIRL( MY MOM) BEFORE DYING OF DIABETES.
SO YOU WERE VERY LUCKY INDEED TO KNOW YOUR GRANDMA.
BUT NOW I AM HAPPY TO BE GRANDMA MYSELF TO MANY WONDERFUL GRAND CHILDREN WHO ARE ALL VERY CLOSE AND LOVING-
SO GOD HAS BEEN GOOD TO ME FOR WHICH I AM DEEPLY GRATEFUL.
THANKS FOR POSTING YOUR GRANDMA STORY.

What precious memories our loved ones leave us when they pass on. They are in a far better place than we are and our prayers are that we will be reunited in the future. God Bless you Sandra. emoticon emoticon

emoticon What a beautiful legacy she left behind. When my precious mother died I said "she left this world a better place and she never owed anything to anyone...she only GAVE." People like your loved one and mine sure do set the right example and I pray our own lives will do as well, Sandra. God bless YOU! emoticon
