So yesterday morning I did not get my exercise in because of a sinus headache but last night I did manage to get my run in which was great but I was really sore this morning. I managed to get in 35 minutes of zumba and 10 minutes of circuit training. Tonight I have my cubscouts clearning some branches and sticks from the treeline around the school so maybe I can burn a few more calories.
Today is day 4 of low carb and tonights menu item is chicken salad with grapes and walnuts over lettuce with a fruit salad. Last nights roast turned out good too. I have not gone over in calories all week and I have been drinking my water. When I got on the scale it was my friend this morning but tomorrow is my normal weigh in day so we will see what it says tomorrow.
My husband brought home more bushes last night so that now makes 2 blueberry, 2 blackberry and 1 raspberry. I have a feeling my car is going to get pooped on alot by the birds. ha ha! We are going to plant a peach tree as well so we should be good on fresh fruit. I am also planting yellow squash, tomatoes, bell peppers, and I have a herb garden too. I am excited about having fresh stuff this year. With the kids being home with my husband over the summer I am hoping they will really get into looking after our garden.
My husband is retiring this year from the military and I am starting to get nervious. He has decided to go back to college and his GI bill pays him a cost of living allowance while he goes, however a friend of ours said it took them 2 months to get it straight. That scares me because we are so use to making so much money a month and now to have it cut in 1/2 is scary. My husband says he is going to go get a part time job while he is going to college. I sure hope it pays well because we may be living tight for a couple years. Hopefully there is not problems with his retirement pay. Kinda getting a little scared over it but at least he will be home now for the kids and not gone 6 plus months out of every year.
