Merde! I am unable to complete my Jari Love Get Ripped rotation. Why? I hurt my shoulder and quite obviously I don't want to do anything to make things worse. So after feeling a bit screwed up last week and not getting in nearly as many workouts. As a matter of fact, I was in a funk and did nothing from Wednesday to Monday.
I have decided to give the Get Ripped rotation a rest over the summer. I have reworked my plan. In addition to cardio and yoga I will add lighter weights and barre/fusion into my rotation. I also plan on doing only workouts I enjoy and like, Hot Hula, BellyFit, Leslie Sansone, Jessica Smith and Turbo Jam/Fire will be staples. I will throw in others depending on my mood or the day :-). I will do only what makes me happy. Being spring and summer, shorter weight workouts will be best. That way I can get them in and still have time to enjoy the weather and time with my family.
That being said, I will restart my Jari rotation again in the fall. By then my shoulder will be healed completely and it will be easier to settle into the routine of kids being back in school and less travel.
So for now, I will do what makes me happy
Remember, push yourself, you never know what you can accomplish.
