I have a love/hate relationship with running.

It would seem like I love to workout, but in reality I can't say that I do. Don't get me wrong I like to exercise, but that would include power walking, horseback riding, mowing the lawn, playing sports, etc. Workingout is another story.
I'm still on my "Insanity high" and I'm proud of myself for completing such an intense program. However, to say I love extreme exercise would be a lie. I don't really like running because I hate the lactic acid build up and the gasping for air. (Hum, I had the same problem with Insanity!)
What I do love is how I feel when I STOP! I love my muscles being a little sore proving to me that I pushed hard and made my body work. I love how I look when I put on my favorite jeans. I love how people react when they haven't seen me for a while. I love that I feel good in my own skin.
Sooo, I'm going to give running a try. I want to do the Oklahoma Marathon next year with my cousins. Will I run a full marathon, heck NO! I will do the 5K, at least and maybe the 10K. I will start the first month of Insanity again. The first month is more manageable time wise and physically. I want to keep the body I have now and maybe even improve on it!
