Pray for 2 of the Boston Bombing Victims

Thursday, April 18, 2013

The race was over, friends let us know that they were safe.
Then the news came. Relatives of one of our friends, were seriously hurt.
Please pray for Adrienne and Adam. Adrienne lost her lower leg in the Boston attack and Adam has undergone two surgeries for shrapnel. This has of course been quite stressful....but we are believing in God's plan that these two will come to know the Lord through this. Tim is currently planning on flying back next week to bring added support. Adam just got back with in a month of a tour of duty to Afghanistan.
Thank you.

emoticon All the talk of shrapnel reminds me how my father was seriously wounded from it on the front lines, in WW2. The shrapnel almost killed him along with his other wounds, putting him in hospital in England for 2 years druing 1944 and 1946. Pieces of it was circulating in his body all his life, and may have caused the cancer that took his life at 62. So while it cannot compare to all the lost limbs from the blasts, it too is a very serious type of wound. Why must man do such thimgs to man? Oh dear...I better say no more...there is enough stress on you all.
emoticon Along with all Canadians, I am praying earnestly for you, my best friends there in America. emoticon

Oh dearLord! Bless Adrienne and Adam. Guide the health care workers caring for them so a successful outcome is achieved.

I cannot even begin to tell you how my heart aches for Adam, having been thru Afgnahistan. My DS was wounded there by gunshot and shrapnel in April. It is a long tough battle to recover physically and mentally. Thank God for faith in Him.

Hugs, prayers and PEACE!

  Lord,

In Jesus name I lift up Adrienne and Adam now before you. We commit them and all of the other family members and victims to your love and care. We pray for a total healing and restoration and that You would be glorified through Your supernatural intervention. Hear our prayer Lord Jesus, have compassion on everyone this event has affected and more we pray! For it's in your name that we plead... Yes and amen. emoticon emoticon emoticon
